沙茲伯格回答國土報記者問題時表示，「我真的不知道（印刷版的）紐約時報會不會在五年內停掉，但你知道嗎？我根本不在乎（這件事）」。

UDN的「翻譯」是都順便作「改編」嗎？
明明人家接受專訪時是很有自信地說："Once upon a time, people had to read the paper to find out what was going on in theater. Today there are hundreds of forums and sites with that information," he says. ""But the paper can integrate material from bloggers and external writers. We need to be part of that community and to have dialogue with the online world."
但是到了UDN手上卻變成：「現在有無數的討論區與網站提供各種資訊，紐約時報不能忽視這股潮流，「必須成為這個社群的一份子」，整合部落客與網路作者的資源，與網路世界對話。」
