Google的Picasa是個免費又好用的相片管理軟體，但是它只有出Windows跟Linux的版本(使用WINE)，並不支援Mac，僅提供了一個給Mac用的上傳工具，能使用iPhoto來上傳相片到Picasa網路相簿中。在Macworld出現的Google T恤上，印上了Picasa的圖示(如下圖)，Google也表示Picasa for Mac 已經在開發中，而且這一年內會推出。看來Mac的玩家要有福了。
Mozilla 推出了一項稱為 Weave 的網站書籤同步服務，只要註冊一個 Weave 帳號，並下載專用的 Firefox add-on，即可免費進行書籤與瀏覽記錄的分享、分享、與轉移。這項服務可用於 Mac、Windows、Linux，目前仍是 beta 階段。
看來書籤服務似乎成了兵家必爭之地呀！

虛擬樂高設計軟體
Chad Adams figured out a brilliant technique of cutting and folding pieces of paper into little books and called it PocketMod. The technique was brilliant, but the software was a little awkward. So I, knowing a little about Cocoa, hacked together PagePacker.
ToDo is a small application to manage categorized to do lists. Each to do item can be linked with a file on your computer, a URL, such as the address of a website, or a contact from your address book. The linked item can be opened directly from the ToDo window. ToDo items can also include notes, priorities and deadlines, which can be set as reminders in iCal.

A project to implement an open source driver for Apple powerbooks. The project was started as an alternative to SideTrack (which isn't free) and an improvement upon iScroll2. It acheives its advanced features by running the trackpad in what is called `absolute' mode. This means that the driver can tell exactly what part of the pad your finger is touching. The Apple driver (and iScroll2) both run the pad in `relative' mode, and while that facilitates a simpler driver because the pad does most of the work, it is very limiting of what you can do.
