The idea for this collection of soft flexible structures originated with a concept for softhousing that designers, Stephanie Forsythe and Todd MacAllen began developing in 2001. The idea of softhousing is that furniture and private rooms such as bedrooms, can fold away when not in use, lending space back to the main room of an open plan, for work, play or home use.
