Gould had a tremendous passion for music - evident in his playing, his writings, in broadcasting, composing, conducting, and experiments with technology. At the early age of three it became clear that he possessed exceptional musical aptitude, including absolute pitch and even the ability to read staff notation. Since 1955, over 60 albums have been released, including 8 Collected Volumes of his work.
