在所有 Dylan 角色中，最被推崇的是 Cate Blanchett 所飾演的 Jude。除了她本身反串的精湛演出外，當然這段時期的 Dylan 也是最充滿魅力的時期。但我其實並不驚豔，因為這段故事太過於寫實了，許多場景與話語都曾出現在其他 Dylan 紀錄片中。在看過真實 Dylan 的演出後，Jude僅帶來某種趣味感罷了。我最喜歡的角色反倒是 Ben Whishaw 飾演的 Rimbaud，與 Richard Gere 所扮演的比利小子；這兩個基於 Dylan 靈感來源的角色故事才充分滿足了一個 Dylan迷對於一部 Dylan 劇情電影的幻想。

WEST SAUGERTIES - A proposal to build an 80-foot tower for a wind turbine near a home made famous by Bob Dylan and The Band has been shelved, the applicant said. Stoll Road resident E. Mark Smith said he will not proceed at this time with plans to obtain a permit that would let him put the turbine on his property. He said his decision was based on a lack of information from his contractor, not public opposition to the plan. "I'm just not satisfied with the data I have at this point to make a decision," Smith said. Specifically, he said he lacked the information to determine whether the turbine, which would generate power for his home, would be a worthwhile investment. Smith's land borders that of the Parnassus Lane property where Big Pink is located. Big Pink is a pink-sided tract house in West Saugerties that became famous after the release of two albums recorded there in the late 1960s - The Band's "Music From Big Pink" and Dylan's "The Basement Tape," which featured The Band. The members of The Band lived in the house and used a picture of it on the back cover of "Music From Big Pink." Dylan lived for a while in nearby Woodstock. Last week, concern about the turbine plan was voiced during a public hearing held by the town of Saugerties Planning Board. Opponents of the plan said the turbine would detract from the view of the house and create noise. Smith said the turbine would have created no more than 65 decibels of noise. The Planning Board said it would seek additional information before proceeding with the application process, but that was before Smith changed his mind. The Parnassus Lane house is owned by Don LaSala and his wife, Susan. Don LaSala said last week that he was taking a "wait and see" approach to the turbine proposal. He said he is a supporter of alternative energy but wanted to learn more about Smith's plan and how the turbine might affect his home. LaSala, an audio engineer, said he and his wife purchased the home not because of its musical history but because they were attracted to the peaceful environment. He said he understood the concerns of people who feared the turbine would become part of the view of Big Pink, which many people still come to photograph.
